The newest trend among the most spoiled, stupid generation prior to Gen Z, ie: the baby boomers, is posting identical controversial quotes against the backdrop of celebrity photos regardless if they’ve even bothered to verify the information or not (hint: they have not). The venue for their stubborn ignorance is Facebook as usual. What a shocker. Millennial misanthropes hang out on Twitter, but gullible old people still prefer the fantastic fake news of Facebook, for real.
And if there’s one thing the Facebook algorithm excels at, it’s shoveling the worst, most hateful, nonsensical or controversial filth into your eye holes. After months or years of cultivating the right kind of feed, you can avoid most of this clickbait garbage, but if you’re a new user or haven’t bothered adjusting Facebook’s personality to fit your tastes, it’s a screeching cacophony of rage fuel or bullshit, usually both, doubly so if you’re a technology-challenged boomer dumbass. They continue to engage with the content so they keep seeing it. It’s a never ending cycle of septuagenarians yelling at clouds.

But the story wouldn’t be any fun if I didn’t provide examples of this social media tragedy. If you don’t use Facebook, you might otherwise never know this stuff is happening, so you’re welcome.

Here’s a comment from a boomer stricken with a sudden swelling of pride who thought Sandler was garbage until he thought they hated the same people.
That’s first thing he’s ever done that was good!!!!!! He’s maturing finally
Or this one, who didn’t hesitate to bring religion into an already imaginary situation.
Good decision for him!! if he did .. I would just think he believes in God
But wait, there’s more.

Surely there can’t be any other celebrities who share the same sentiment that isn’t clearly someone just copy/pasting their agenda on random images (they even changed his suit color for some reason). Oh shit. Look.

Are any of these true? Not according to sources outside of unofficial Facebook groups. None of these celebrities seems to ever mention LGBTQ cartoons. But interestingly, when you attempt to find the wellspring of this horse shit, you just find more until you’re up to your ankles in it.
Did Adam Sandler refuse to wear a LGBTQ guitar strap?
Adam Sandler delivered a fiery statement denouncing what he called the “woke agenda,” vowing he would never be forced to wear symbols he didn’t believe in — a move that instantly divided fans across Hollywood, Nashville, and the nation. Stand up for your beliefs, even when the world asks you to conform.
Of all the things that never happened, this never happened the most. It was posted on a Facebook page called ‘Signs from Our Loved Ones’, apparently dedicated to messages from the other side. I say apparently because with 1.2 million followers, there’s some evidence that they saw how big their platform had become and decided to get some easy clicks by posting controversial AI-generated stories about celebrities standing up to woke.
From the group’s “rules”:
WE DO NOT JUDGE ANYONE OR CRITICIZE, ARGUE, OR POST NEGATIVE COMMENTS. Our members are often in a fragile state of mind, and we do not tolerate negativity or drama.
Well that’s a lie. I can think of way better “rules” for these kinds of groups.
WE JUDGE EVERYONE WE DON’T AGREE WITH AND WE ARGUE TO PASS THE TIME UNTIL BINGO NIGHT. All of our members are imbeciles and are in a fragile state of mind because they’re stupid boomers and are grouchy that the world has changed and their diapers haven’t. They’re in a constant state of medicated rage and selfishness and don’t deserve respect from any other generation because they’ve left the world far worse than they found it, with numerous wars and economic downfalls under their belts. Not only do we tolerate drama, we thrive off of it. The only way you’ll get banned is if you have pink hair or watch cartoons with LGBTQ themes, unlike Adam Sandler’s precious children. 11AM to 1PM is naptime. Karens not only welcome, but mandatory. No ******s allowed.
Play it safe – never believe anything a boomer tells you. They probably got it from a Facebook group no one’s ever heard of that just happens to align with their pre-conceived notions about the world.
